Tick-tack of the clock! Third Grading Period is done. In our  more than three months with Ms. Raiza Impelido and Ms. Donna Quillopo, I have learned a lot on the Microsoft Frontpage. They teach us on how to use it. Well, we learned our lessons everyday especially in making our projects.
In this grading period we encountered a problem like in rushing our projects in different subjects. It affects our time in other subjects because we asked permission every time we didn’t finish it on time. Well, speaking of Microsoft Frontpage, I find it so exciting because I created a web page. I divided my time equally and I addressed these challenges by the help of our teachers, their advices and patience. They understand our situation that sometimes we’re running out of time to make our projects. We must learn our lesson in every single day. And we should understand our teachers if they get mad because of our excuses.
Moving on, I will do my best and exert more efforts just to prove myself to everybody. Gosdpeed. <3

New Year, New Me..

                                                                     SUCH A BIG DRAMA :)))

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language. And next year’s words await another voice.” –T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets. Annually, we’re celebrating New Year on the first day of January, of course.

Some people said that when New Year, you need to change your bad attitudes and start a new you. Well, me? I didn’t want to change because I know that my attitude is not that bad. It seems that I don’t need to change my personality because all of my friends love the way I talk, act etc… In short, they love me and I love them too.

This year, I will do something that makes my parents proud of me. In life, there are people who will pull us down. Still, we should not forget that there are also people who will pull us up after we fall down.

New Year, New Life? A big yes for me! God gave us again a prosperous new year to cherish, change and meet new people. Everyone needs to give up when something didn’t change for the better, but everyone needs to change, to let giving up never happen again. J

“This is the new year the new you. You can pass through another year, coasting on cruise control. Or you can step out of your comfort zone, trying things you have never done before, & make 2012 as the year that you elevate from where you are & soar high. Make it happen!”

Equal Rights

The theme for International Women's Day this year is "Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all" highlights that equal rights and opportunities tip to developed health results for women and girls.
Gender-based insight is forever related to negative health results for women and girls. Its connected poor health results are frequently compounded by other forms of inequality related to socioeconomic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or geographical location. While these challenges are imposing, and often encoded in "normalized" ways of living, International Women's Day restarts our pledge to criticize violations in human rights and to test unequal systems, structures and practices that preserve health differences across the world.
This year, the United Nations emphases attention on the fact that the respect of women’s rights and the guarantee of opportunities tip to significant advances in social and economic development. Correspondingly, development studies over and over show that financing in women has a high return to enlightening livelihoods, improving access to education for children and health for all, and reducing poverty in general terms thus making an impact on overall national economic and social development.

Happy Birthday, JESUS!

Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. “I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ‘’~Charles Dickens

The Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide-open heart that reflects of others first. The spirit behind Christmas is that of giving and sharing. In the Bible, we learn of how the wise men, on learning about the new born child, came calling with gifts of gold. We should also be like these who understood the virtue in giving. It is through giving that we receive. Sometimes, the gains may not be natural but spiritual. Christmas is not all about merrymaking. We must also spare time to reflect on the essence of the period, which is the love of God for humanity.
We don’t need gifts, Christmas lights and Christmas tree to feel the true essence of Christmas. It’s about the love our family and friends, We must love each other, infinity and beyond. ‘’The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:  the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.’’ ~Burton Hillis

Climate Change, Save The Earth

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions. Greenhouse gases are heat trapping gases which causes the rapid warming of the Earth. The Earth’s climate is dynamic and always changing through a natural cycle. These changes are being studied by scientist.
Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Scientists have high confidence that global temperatures will continue to rise for decades to come, largely due to greenhouse gasses produced by human activities. Significant changes in climate change are occurring because of increases in average temperature. The implications of future climate change have become well understood in scientific and community circles. Climate change essentially is about global temperatures and evidence keeps mounting. The understanding of the quantification of human influences in climate has improved since 2001. The global rise in temperature during the past 150 years is considered by climatologists to be the most rapid warming the planet has seen in 10,000 years.
If this phenomenon continues, all of us will be affected. Too much heat will occur and different diseases would come out such as heat strokes and skin diseases that may possible to a lead of cancerous disease. We must reduce the consumption of fossil fuels to protect our planet.

It's About To END

Time is so fast! It’s already the end of Second Quarter and you know what? I have learned a lot. NOTEPAD or HTML, I always sees the notepad in our computer every time I open it, but I’m ignoring it because I don’t know how to use it anyway. Hm.. Is it easy to use the notepad? How?
Well, thank you to Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and Ms. Melany Queyquep for learning us on how to use the notepad. Parts of the web address and page address, kinds of tag, and the tag attributes. These are the learnings that I have learned also in our ICT Subject. I’m really happy because after all my curiosity in notepad, I already knew on how to use and connect it to the internet.
I don’t have problems or challenges that I have encountered in this quarter. Because our teacher explained it well, whenever we have a question they were always there to guide us.
But everytime I have a problem, I faced it without hesitation because I know that God is always there for me. He’s always there everytime I need help. I didn’t loss hope, because I have my strong faith in GOD.
After this grading period, I will do my best and focus more on my studies to attain high grades.  GODSPEED. <3
