Happy Birthday, JESUS!

Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ. “I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ‘’~Charles Dickens

The Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide-open heart that reflects of others first. The spirit behind Christmas is that of giving and sharing. In the Bible, we learn of how the wise men, on learning about the new born child, came calling with gifts of gold. We should also be like these who understood the virtue in giving. It is through giving that we receive. Sometimes, the gains may not be natural but spiritual. Christmas is not all about merrymaking. We must also spare time to reflect on the essence of the period, which is the love of God for humanity.
We don’t need gifts, Christmas lights and Christmas tree to feel the true essence of Christmas. It’s about the love our family and friends, We must love each other, infinity and beyond. ‘’The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:  the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.’’ ~Burton Hillis

Climate Change, Save The Earth

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions. Greenhouse gases are heat trapping gases which causes the rapid warming of the Earth. The Earth’s climate is dynamic and always changing through a natural cycle. These changes are being studied by scientist.
Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Scientists have high confidence that global temperatures will continue to rise for decades to come, largely due to greenhouse gasses produced by human activities. Significant changes in climate change are occurring because of increases in average temperature. The implications of future climate change have become well understood in scientific and community circles. Climate change essentially is about global temperatures and evidence keeps mounting. The understanding of the quantification of human influences in climate has improved since 2001. The global rise in temperature during the past 150 years is considered by climatologists to be the most rapid warming the planet has seen in 10,000 years.
If this phenomenon continues, all of us will be affected. Too much heat will occur and different diseases would come out such as heat strokes and skin diseases that may possible to a lead of cancerous disease. We must reduce the consumption of fossil fuels to protect our planet.

It's About To END

Time is so fast! It’s already the end of Second Quarter and you know what? I have learned a lot. NOTEPAD or HTML, I always sees the notepad in our computer every time I open it, but I’m ignoring it because I don’t know how to use it anyway. Hm.. Is it easy to use the notepad? How?
Well, thank you to Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and Ms. Melany Queyquep for learning us on how to use the notepad. Parts of the web address and page address, kinds of tag, and the tag attributes. These are the learnings that I have learned also in our ICT Subject. I’m really happy because after all my curiosity in notepad, I already knew on how to use and connect it to the internet.
I don’t have problems or challenges that I have encountered in this quarter. Because our teacher explained it well, whenever we have a question they were always there to guide us.
But everytime I have a problem, I faced it without hesitation because I know that God is always there for me. He’s always there everytime I need help. I didn’t loss hope, because I have my strong faith in GOD.
After this grading period, I will do my best and focus more on my studies to attain high grades.  GODSPEED. <3

English Language

Once a year, we celebrated the English Month In the month of October. “Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence” is the theme for this year.
English language is now the most widely used language in the world. It is spoken as a first language by a majority of the inhabitants of several nations. It is very important in our lives because we can communicate in the other nationalities. The English Club organized different activities which will increase our speaking skills. These are the smart talk, oratorical, declamation and jazz chants. By these, we can improve our speaking skills.
Based on what I read, communicative competence is a term in linguistics which refers to a language user's grammatical knowledge of syntax, morphology, phonology and the like, as well as social knowledge about how and when to use utterances appropriately.
The theme highlight that we should learn English so that we would be able to communicate in other nationalities. Wherever we go, we won’t meet problems in communicating. We must study English language.

Conservation of Energy

Every year, we celebrated Science Month. The theme for this year is “Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubber for Sustainable Energy”. In celebrating the Science Month, there are many activities that we must join. The theme is about energy conservation.
Energy is conserved in our universe. It cannot be destroyed nor created. There are two types of energy sources; renewable and non-renewable. Renewable sources like solar, wind, and water energy are constantly renewed. Non-renewable energy sources cannot be replaced and it is a limited supply.
Knowing the definition of energy conservation is very important because it will help us to save the non-renewable energy sources so that there is more supply for the next generations. Papers, plastic bottles etc. require less energy when made from recycled materials.
It encourages us in reducing or saving renewable energy, making simple changes like walking or riding a bike instead of using vehicle. It can greatly reduce the amount of pollution in the air. Let's conserve energy!

Teachers teach us in a right way and they inspire us. People come and go but one thing is for sure, I’ll never forget the person who is known my second parent. How would life be without our teacher?

My favourite teacher is the one who has all the characters of a friend. One who supports and inspired us. A person who appreciates our efforts and guide us in a right path. A teacher who sacrifices a lot for our own good and scolds us when we’re doing wrong. Because they want us to be a good leader or model. They never stop to fill us with knowedge.
Teacher are very important because without them there will be ignorance. Having a teacher, were learning and understanding things easier. They sacrificed everything just to teach us when U thing about teacher, I remember then understanding, hardships, advices, lessons, assignments, practicums, reports and quizzes. Salute the for all their sacrifices that they have done to us. “Mrs. Elizabeth Quitoriano, My Hero”
