PERFECT PARTNERS

Before, we have our heroes. Even though they die, they were always in our hearts and we always remember them. Children think that heroes do fly or heroes have superpowers. But it is necessary that heroes have superpowers?
When I was a child, the only heroes that I know were Batman, Superman and Wonder woman. But as my life goes by, I realized that ordinary people can be a hero. Like my heroes, they can’t fly and of course they don’t have superpowers. But one thing is for sure, they are very strong and they are the best partners in the world. I can’t describe how supportive they are because every time I have a problem they are always there for me and they didn't give up. Even though they don’t have powers they can protect me from danger and they know what is the best for me. I’ll never hate them no matter what happen, because they are the reason why I am here and enjoying my life to the fullest.
It’s not necessary that heroes have superpowers. Ordinary people can be a hero. A very hardworking man and a very supportive woman. My parents are my hero. I am very thankful to have them in my life. PERFECT PARTNERS! <3

PROUDLY PINOY

Every year in the month of August, we celebrate the Buwan ng Wika.  The theme for this year is “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino”.
“Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, ay higit pa ang amoy sa malansang isda…” this song was tattooed in my mind every time I hear the word “WIKA”.
Way back before, we don’t have our own language.  We used different dialect that is why people don’t understand each other, so it starts the argument.  Manuel L. Quezon was the founder of the Filipino Language.  As days passed, Manuel L. Quezon proclaimed the Filipino Language in order for us to understand each other, and to avoid misunderstandings.  We are lucky because there were many heroes who sacrificed their lives for our language and freedom.  They did their best just to attain our freedom and finally they made it.
We’re very thankful.  You are a Filipino? Well, BE PROUD!
